Your Questions, Answered

Therapy can bring up many questions, and that’s completely normal. Here, we’ve answered some of the most common ones. If you need further clarification or have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Our team is happy to help.

What Happens In the Assessment?

We discuss why you’re seeking therapy, explore your background, and understand your goals. This session guides your personalised treatment plan, and carries no obligation to continue.

How Do You Match Me With The Right Therapist?

Based on your assessment, we consider your needs and preferences to pair you with the best therapist. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll discuss other options.

Why Weekly Therapy Sessions?

Weekly therapy build consistency, rapport and stability – key for effective therapy. They support steady progress, deeper exploration, and timely responses to challenges, helping reinforce positive changes and lasting wellbeing.

Are Your Therapists Properly Qualified?

Yes. While titles like counsellor and psychotherapist aren’t legally protected in the UK, the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) operates an accredited register scheme. Professional Bodies such as the BAPC, UKCP, and NCPS safeguard clients through registration and accreditation. All our senior therapists are rigorously vetted, registered and hold recognised qualifications, so you can be confident in safe, high-quality care.

Are Therapists in Training Qualified to Practice?

Yes. Much like in law or medicine, the title Therapist in Training reflects a recognised status. Our therapists are in the final stages of training at reputable institutes or recently qualified, working toward accreditation. They already have clinical experience, have passed competency assessments, and work under regular supervision and mentoring to ensure safe and effective care at the highest standards.

Is Confidentiality Guaranteed?

Yes, absolutely. All therapy is private, with exceptions only in rare safety-related circumstances – always discussed with you first.
